How to Read Your Credit Report
FMG Suite was looking to create an interactive with the goal of helping people navigate their credit report. I worked with writer Cameron Douglas to translate this into Noir vibe a la Dashiell Hammett.
My Workflow:
Art Director’s Sketches > Sketch UI > Getty Images > Photoshop FX > Invision
My Process:
Utilizing the sketches provided by my art director, I began laying out the UI design in sketch. First choosing the location of the main navigation, headers and body content. Then I searched Getty to find supporting imagery to use throughout the piece. Next I used Photoshop to edit the photos and add FX to really give it that gritty Film-Noir- look and feel. I also used Photoshop to create the faux dossiers used in the Account & Personal Information pages. After importing all the assets into my Sketch layout, I used the Craft plugin and uploaded to Invision for the edit and revision process.
